ARP Moly Assembly Lube provides accurate and consistent preload on critical fasteners. Applying ARP Assembly Lube to threads and the underside of the bolt head and/or nut reduces unpredictable friction between fasteners. Use it on any application where incorrect preload could lead to disaster.
The lubricant is specially formulated with rust and corrosion inhibitors and offers a load range of 500,000 psi. This small 1.69 ounce squeeze tube is enough for all of the critical chassis fasteners on a typical racecar.
Note: This lubricant reduces the torque required to obtain the proper preload! Most torque values assume dry fasteners which require additional torque to overcome friction. ARP Assembly Lube reduces the required torque by as much as 30%. ARP engine fasteners are supplied with torque recommendations specifically for this lubricant.
