AiM EVO4 RPM Coil Signal Filter ARP04

This special cable is made specifically for the AiM EVO4 data logger to get a clean RPM signal from an ignition coil such as the Bosch "Blue" coil. A built-in signal filter reduces voltage spikes and noise in the coil signal, turning the high-voltage signal from your ignition coil into a 12V square wave signal for clean RPM data. The 5-pin "712" (screw-in) connector attaches to the RPM input port on the AiM EVO4. Requires a 12V power supply and ground connection. A fourth wire provides access to a configurable digital output (see pages 10 and 11 of the EVO4 user manual).

White: "RPM 150 - 450V" for RPM signal from the ignition coil
Black: "GND" for connection to chassis ground ( - )
Red: "9-15 VDC" for connection to switched battery positive (ON when EVO4 is ON)
Grey: "DIGIT OUT" (from Pin 5) for digital output function

Note: For use with EVO4 only. This harness is not designed to work with any other AiM unit.
