Flaring Mandrel for -6 Steel Braided PTFE Hose

Separating the stainless steel braid from the PTFE inner liner when installing the hose ends on braided stainless power steering or AC hoses can be both time consuming and painful without the proper tool.

This flaring mandrel is speficially recommended by the manufacturer of our high-pressure PTFE hose as the correct way to spread the braid before installing the inner sleeve (olive) on -6 hose. Sold individually.
