When you're getting strapped into your racecar, whether it's on the grid or in the pits for a driver change, you don't need to be fumbling with connecting your water-cooled shirt to your cooler hoses. The Rapid Release system from Chill0ut makes connection and disconnection so quick and easy, you'll be able to do it blind (with a little practice)!
This brilliantly simple system allows you to mount the ends of the cooler hoses solidly inside the car so they can't get away. At the same time, your shirt hoses get an easy-to-grab handle that holds them steady for you. Just a quick stab connects both hoses at once, and a sharp tug (just 10 pounds of force) disconnects them instantly.
This very complete kit includes everything you need (and more):
1 Surface mount bracket (for mounting to the floor, dash, transmission tunnel, etc)
1 Bar mount bracket (for mounting to rollcage tubing)
2 Large zip ties (to hold the bar mount to your cage)
1 Handle bracket (for the shirt hoses)
2 Quick-release valved female fittings for 1/4" hose
2 Male valved fittings for 1/4" hose
2 Reinforced, non-kinking 1/4" ID x 36" long hose extensions (to extend the reach of your shirt hoses)
2 Hose splicers for 1/4" hose (for use with Chill0ut and other brands with 1/4" hose)
2 Hose splicers for 5/16" hose (for adapting Cool Shirt and other brands with 5/16" hose)
1 Protective braided sleeve 36" long (to cover the tubing)
