This 74 micron filter is recommended by Facet for use on the inlet side of Cube-Style and Posi-Flo series fuel pumps. (Most Facet Cylindrical / "Interrupter" pumps are equipped with a built-in filter.) The inlet end has a push-on fitting for 5/16" (8mm) ID rubber fuel hose. The outlet end of the housing has a male 1/8 NPT threaded fitting for direct connection to any pump with 1/8 NPT female ports.* Use it anywhere you need to connect a rubber hose to a female 1/8 NPT port and add an extra layer of protection to your fuel system.
The all-metal housing measures 3/4" diameter with a 15/16" hex at the threaded end. Body length (less threads and barb) is 1 7/8". Compatible with gasoline and diesel fuel. Not recommended for fuel injection systems. This filter is not designed to be disassembled. It should be replaced periodically.
