This 11 9/16" long input shaft from Hewland has 7/8" x 20 clutch splines to fit most Formula Fords with the common 2 1/8" thick transmission adapter plate and Hewland or Webster Mk-series gearbox. Hewland part number HC239-4.
Note 1: Does not fit Lola T-342, Swift DB-1 / DB-6, 1983 and later Van Diemen, or others with an oil tank between the engine and transmission.
Note 2: Lotus 51 and 61 Formula Fords, Lotus 23 sports racers, and other Formula Fords with 3 1/4" thick adapter plates use the Long Formula Ford Input Shaft (Part No. 1410-C21H-2).
Note 3: Many current FF1600 cars were converted from 2.0L (FC) chassis, and most retained the larger 1x23 spline clutch shaft originally used with the 2.0L engine. The only way to know for sure is to measure your input shaft or count your clutch disc splines.
