FF Long (Lotus) Input Shaft, 12.69", 7/8 x 20 Spline

This Hewland input shaft is designed for use in Hewland and Webster Mk-series gearboxes. The 7/8-20 spline size is common for FF1600, Cosworth BD-engined FA/F3 and sports racers, and FSV. The extended 12 11/16" length fits Lotus 51 and 61 Formula Fords, Lotus 23 sports racers, and some other Formula Fords with 3 1/4" thick gearbox adapter plates. Hewland part number HC239-5.

Note that the majority of Formula Fords and Ford-based sports racers used a smaller 2 1/8" thick gearbox adapter ring and require a shorter input shaft measuring 11 9/16" long.
