Brand: Red Line Synthetic Oil
Red Line Synthetic D6 ATF is formulated to satisfy the new Dexron-VI® low-viscosity requirements intended for better fuel economy. D6 also meets Dexron III®, Dexron II®, Mercon®, Mercedes-Benz NAG-2, and 70W/75W/80W GL-4 gear oil standards*.
The lifetime viscosity of D6 is even more stable than the Dexron VI requirements (Dexron allows a drop to 5.5 cSt, but D6 drops to no less than 6.1 cSt). It is also less prone to evaporation and protects better against varnish than standard ATF.
*Note: Although D6 satisfies GL-4 gear oil requirements, Red Line does not recommend D6 for all manual transmissions where Dexron III fluid is recommended. Some customers have had good results, but there have been reports of poor results in some applications.

** Viscosity Index refers to the change in viscosity with temperature. A lower VI number indicates a higher rate of change. (Note that the original scale developed in 1929 only went to 100!)
