Brand: Facet-Purolator
Facet fuel pumps have low power requirements (about 1 amp at 12 volts) and operate without troublesome seals or diaphragms. Facet pumps are compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (up to and including E85), diesel, biodiesel, and fuel additives.
This kit is specifically set up to fit certain 1998-2007 GM and GMC vehicles. Includes Facet pump number 40272, mounting hardware, and a pair of special plumbing adapters to accept the M16 male fittings on the stock GM fuel lines. A pair of barbed adapters also allows the pump to be used on vehicles with 5/16" rubber hoses instead of metric lines (you will use one set of adapters or the other). Maximum fuel delivery 32 gallons per hour at free-flow. Maximum pressure 9 to 11.5 psi. Typical flow 15 gph at 5 psi. 1/8 NPT female ports.
This pump does not have an anti-siphon valve, so fuel can be pulled through the pump when it is off. A one-way valve ensures that fuel will flow in only one direction. 96 inch minimum dry lift rating lets you mount this pump up to 8 feet above the fuel level. The positive and negative wires have a 2-pin Packard (Weather Pack "tower") connector installed from the factory.
This kit can be used on many mid-1980s to 2000s GM V6 and V8s. It is also a perfect replacement for the frame-mounted feed pump on GM and GMC diesels. Replaces Delphi FD0009, FD0031, FE0224, and FE0225.
Beware of counterfeits! We only sell Genuine Facet pumps - not the unreliable foreign knock-offs sold elsewhere.
