The Simpson Shifter Boot Cover installs over the existing shifter boot to add fire protection and increased thermal insulation to the cockpit area.
The updated design features reverse stitching to minimize the chance of fire penetration. Constructed with a reflective aluminized inner layer, a Kevlar® insulating layer, and a fire-resistant outer fabric for the ultimate in protection. Measures approximately 6 1/2" x 7 1/2" at the base and 6 1/2" high. SFI 48.1 approved.
