Facet Cube Style 12 Volt Fuel Pump, 1.5 to 2.5 max psi

Click for a larger picture of Facet Cube Style 12 Volt Fuel Pump, 1.5 to 2.5 max psi

Brand: Facet Electric Fuel Pumps

Maximum fuel delivery 17 gallons per hour at free-flow. Maximum pressure 1.5 to 2.5 psi. Typical flow 8 gph at 0.5 psi. 1/8 NPT female ports. This pump can replace Facet pump number 40226.

For low fuel requirements on engines up to about 80 horsepower, a single Solid State pump such as this one is usually sufficient. Pumps can be combined in series or parallel to achieve higher pressures or flows. We also offer several models with higher flow rates and pressures for engines up to about 150 horsepower. Facet fuel pumps have low power requirements (about 1 amp at 12 volts) and operate without troublesome seals or diaphragms. This model also features an internal check valve to prevent fuel from draining back into the tank. It does not have an anti-siphon valve, so fuel can be pulled through the pump when it is off.

Comments about Facet Cube Style 12 Volt Fuel Pump, 1.5 to 2.5 max psi:

I bought this to use on a 16hp Onan engine in an old Wheel horse..the original pump was weak and the recommended max psi was 3psi. This pump fits the bill - won't put too much pressure on the carb seat and cause flooding into the engine oil. Also, only draws max of 900 milliamps - hooks right into the run position on the ignition switch without causing a problem - works great!
