Beta Tools INOX Oxidation-Resistant Stainless Steel Tools

Beta Inox (short for "in-oxidizable") tools are designed for use in critical environments where contamination is unacceptable, such as nuclear facilities, pharmaceutical production (Class C), biotech, food production, and offshore marine environments. The use of mild steel tools in these environments can lead to corrosion and rust formation, even on stainless steel fasteners. Beta Inox tools are constructed of magentic stainless steel (AISI 420), expertly heat-treated to achieve strength comparable to standard Beta tools.

All Beta INOX tools (even those with plastic handles) can be sterilized in an autoclave at 121°C (250°F).
