Beta Tools 720T Series Impact Torsion Bars, 1/2 Inch Drive

Impact drivers save a lot of time when changing wheels, but zipping lug nuts on using full power can snap your wheel studs. The 720T Series torsion bar extensions from Beta Tools are designed to limit the amount of applied torque to avoid overtightening and breakage.

Simply put a 720T bar between your impact wrench and your impact socket (as you would do with a regular extension) before tightening the lug nut. The 1/2" square drive fits common impact wrenches and sockets (sold separately). When your impact gun begins to hammer, the bar will twist to absorb torque pulses above the rated torque. Finish by using your torque wrench to bring the nuts to full torque. The part number and torque limit (in Nm) are etched into each bar and stand out well against the matte black finish for quick identification.

Note 1: These are torque limiting devices only. They are not designed to apply an exact amount of torque. You must use a torque wrench to ensure lug nuts are tightened properly.
Note 2: Never use these bars to loosen any fasteners. Doing so may break the bar and cause serious injury.
