Bolt Kits for Tilton Clutches
These clutch bolt kits include AN-spec bolts and, where applicable, washers and all-metal locknuts.
The wide array of bolt kits boils down to five elements:
Clutch Size: The 7.25" OT-3 racing (sintered metallic) and rally (Cerametallic) clutches take 6 bolts; the 5.5" OT-III series take 8 bolts; the 7.25" OT-II carbon/carbon take 12 bolts.
Clutch Material: Sintered metallic, Cerametallic, and carbon/carbon all have different leg heights for a given number of discs. Speaking of...
Number of friction discs: 1, 2, 3, or 4
Flywheel Type: Conventional Step (friction surface 0.100" higher than the clutch mounting surface) or Pot-type (friction surface flush with mounting surface)
Mounting Holes: Threaded (5/16-24 UNF) or Through (unthreaded 5/16" ID)
Note that in a few cases, one bolt kit may fit more than one type of clutch.
