Deutsch DT Series 13 Amp Electrical Connectors

The Deutsch DT Series is a modular electrical connector system that seals the connection against moisture and dirt (IP68 rated for immersion in water deeper than 1 meter). The system's reliability has been proven in real-world use on many brands of street cars. Rated from -55° C to +125° C (-67° F to 257° F). The DT Series is designed around wire sizes from 18 to 14 AWG, and each contact is rated to handle 13 Amps.

To build a male Plug, you will need:
One Plug Housing (part 4196-102 through -112), choose 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 12 pin
One Plug Wedge (part 4196-202 through -212), match the number of pins on the Plug Body
Enough Plug Barrel Contacts (part 4196-301) to fill the Plug Body
If you need a in-between number of contacts, choose the next larger Plug and fill any unused positions with a Sealing Plug (part 4198-001) instead of a barrel contact.

To build a female Receptacle, you will need:
One Receptacle Housing (part 4197-102 through -112), choose 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 12 pin
One Receptacle Wedge (part 4197-202 through -212), match the number of pins on the Receptacle Housing
Enough Receptacle Pin Contacts (part 4197-301) to fill the Receptacle Housing
If you need a in-between number of contacts, choose the next larger Receptacle Housing and fill any unused positions with a Sealing Plug (part 4198-001) instead of a barrel contact.
