Longacre Bump Steer Gauges
Bump Steer is the amount of toe change with suspension travel. A certain amount of bump steer may be desirable in certain conditions, but large amounts of toe change are generally to be avoided. Remember, bump steer doesn't just happen when you go over a bump. It happens as the car leans in a corner.
Bump steer is usually adjusted by changing the height of the outer tie rod ends relative to the height of the steering rack, or by moving the steering rack up or down.
