New Expanded Shipping Options

What does building your own airplane have to do with shipping options? Safety through redundancy!

Good aviation design typically provides at least one backup for each critical system. If something goes wrong in the primary circuit, the pilot can still rely on the backup to get the plane where it needs to go. We first expanded our shipping options several years ago for the same reason. Now we offer no less than 5 different options so you can spend more on racing and less on shipping.

For smaller packages where transit time is not critical, US Postal Service is often the most economical. The Priority Mail Small Flat-Rate box is one of our customers' favorites. Small but heavy items like hardware can be much less expensive to send this way. "If it fits, it ships!"

Spee-Dee Delivery Service is our newest addition. Customers in the upper Midwest (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, the Dakotas, as well as the St Louis Missouri metro area, many cities in Nebraska, and bits of UP Michigan) can take advantage of this very quick (1-3 business days), very economical regional carrier. Shipping cost is always based on weight, never on dimensions. This makes Spee-Dee ideal for large but lightweight items like roll bar padding, aeroduct hose, and sheets of wire mesh.

The volume of packages that we ship via FedEx has risen dramatically in just the last few years. Many customers specifically request FedEx Ground service to take advantage of their Saturday delivery to most residential addresses. Some customers east of the Mississippi also report that FedEx often delivers a day earlier.

Never content to rest on their reputation, UPS (big brown truck) recently announced plans to roll out Saturday delivery, but full details were not available at press time.

Large, heavy items are best shipped by Truck Freight. We can ship a single pallet anywhere in the lower 48 states for a flat $149. Remember that most conventional shippers charge an Oversized Package Surcharge (currently $70) on large, bulky items like racing seats. Also keep in mind that we can fit up to 4 racing seats on a single pallet. Divide the $149 shipping cost with three of your friends and keep the change!

If you are ever unsure about what might be the quickest or most economical shipping method, just let us know and we'll be happy to walk you through your options!

Free Shipping on most orders over $199 shipped within the Continental United States
We have many large and heavy items in our inventory. That has made it difficult for us to offer a wide-ranging free shipping policy. Yet we realize that free shipping is important to many of our customers. You spoke and we heard you. More than 99.7% of the items in our inventory now qualify for Free Shipping on orders over $199 shipped to the 48 states within the continental US. There are a few exceptions (mainly Roll Bars, Roll Cages, Beta tool cabinets, Racing Seats, and full sheets of Jabroc). We've tried to keep the exceptions to a minimum. Orders with free shipping are shipped by the most economical method of our choice. Air shipments and other orders with paid shipping are given priority in our warehouse, so orders with free shipping may not always ship the same day. However, if you have a few extra days available in your schedule, you can save significantly with our new free shipping policy. Note: Our Free Shipping policy applies to retail customers only.
