This ultra quick (4 readings per second), high accuracy (0.5% of applied* pressure) digital tire pressure gauge features a large 1/2-inch tall backlit display. User-selectable units display pressure up to 99.99 psi in 0.1 pound increments, 7 Bar in 0.01 Bar increments, or 7 kilograms per square centimeter in 0.01 kg/cm2 increments. Factory certified calibration is verified on start-up by a self-check program which alerts you if the unit ever requires recalibration!
Peak hold function displays the highest measured pressure until the unit is reset to zero. Auto shut-off and low battery warning help to extend battery life up to 3 years. *Note: When comparing accuracy, it pays to read the fine print. Many gauges on the market advertise accuracy to a certain percentage of full scale or capacity. This means that a 100 psi gauge accurate to 0.5% of full scale can be off by half a pound (0.5% of 100) anywhere on the scale. At 14 psi, the gauge could display anywhere from 13.5 to 14.5 psi. Accuracy to 0.5% of the applied pressure means that at 14 psi, the gauge will read between 13.93 and 14.07 psi. If you adjust pressures in half-pound increments, that extra accuracy makes a big difference!
