Arai GPV-R Auto Racing Helmets and Accessories, SA2025

The Arai GPV-R Series helmets use the same shell design as the GPV-R Carbon helmets worn by F1 and IndyCar drivers. The shells are hand-laminated using a complex composite developed for F1, with the fibers specially oriented for maximum strength with flexibility. You get the well-known Arai styling and performance, with protection that meets or exceeds Snell SA2025 and FIA 8859-2024 standards.

The GPV-R Series feature a slightly taller eyeport than the previous GP-6 series (68mm high vs 60mm) that is suitable for high-speed open wheel racing. The shield pivot has been moved downwards, allowing Arai designers to reshape the shell for better impact attenuation. The F1-spec lock tab at the center bottom of the face shield is now standard.
