HANS Device M61 Helmet Anchors and Tether Kits

Tether kits for the FIA-Approved M61 quick-release anchors

The M61 quick-disconnect helmet anchor from Simpson is much lighter and lower-profile than the original Quick-Click anchors from HANS. They are SFI 38.1 approved, and (when mounted in a Snell SAH2010 or later, or FIA 8859-2015 / 8858-2010 helmet), FIA 8858-2010 approved.* All of these tether kits are the latest Vision Advantage Plus sliding tethers.

Tether kits are available with 4 different carrier types:

• Classic Style fits HANS Extra, Sport, and Pro Series
• Oval Carriers fit HANS Pro Ultra Lite, Pro Ultra, and Adjustable Series
• Sport II fits HANS Sport II Series only
• HANS III fits HANS III Series only

All of the tether kits listed here are the Vision Advantage Plus sliding tethers.

* FIA rating is only valild when used with a helmet with threaded inserts factory-installed in the helmet shell (Snell SAH2010, Snell SA2015, FIA 8858-2010, and FIA 8859-2015). When installed with nutwashers behind the helmet lining, the M61 anchors are SFI 38.1 approved.
