Cotter Pins (Split Pins)
Cotter pins are inexpensive and lightweight retainers for castellated nuts, brake pads, and clevis pins. Cotter pins in critical applications should be used only once and then replaced if they are removed.
Our standard cotter pins are offered in several sizes and diameters for general applications. Our Mil-Spec cotter pins are designed specifically for use with drilled-shank AN bolts and AN310 castle nuts.
