Self-Ejecting 1/4-Turn Fasteners, 3/8" Diameter
With our captive quarter-turn Dzus assemblies, you won't have to worry about losing body fasteners. These 3/8" nominal studs have a 3/4" diameter head. This size is popular on vintage cars.
Finding the stud and spring receptacle sizes you need couldn't be easier!
All you need is the total thicknesses of all the panels to be fastened together. That's all!
Just measure the thickness of each panel, and add the thicknesses together. (Be sure to include any space between the panels for rivet heads.)

Still can't figure it out?
As a quick "cheater" trick, order the shortest spring receptacle (Part No. 3024-250). If the assembly is not tight enough, simply add spacing washers between the spring and the panel. This moves the spring away from the stud assembly, taking up the slack.
