Relays
Relays are the best way to switch high-amperage automotive electrical loads (such as fans, horns, fuel injection pumps, or lights). You can use a compact dash switch with a relatively low amperage rating to control the relay, and the relay will handle the load of just about any accessory drawing more than 10 Amps.
Our change-over relays can be used for simple on-off switching, off-on switching, or switching from one circuit to another. The normally-off side can handle a load of 50 Amps, and the normally-on side can handle a load of 30 Amps.
