Coldside Components
The 'Coldside' of a turbo system is everything on the Intake side of the system. This starts at the air filters and ends at the throttle bodies. Most systems contain some form of blow off valve to help protect the coldside of the system from damaging pressure waves created by shutting the throttle plate. Often times these systems use different silicone hoses as well as welded on aluminum clamps.
