Mechanical Gauges
All mechanical temperature gauges (regardless of manufacturer) have a sensor bulb connected to the gauge by a thin capillary tube. This tube is rather fragile and must be handled and routed carefully to prevent damage. As long as the caplillary tube is not damaged, these gauges are quite rugged and dependable.
