HANS Devices carry SFI 38.1 certification and FIA 8858 homologation. The HANS system has been proven all over the world (over 150,000 sold and counting) since 1986 to reduce the risk of basal skull fractures and other neck injuries. Many sanctioning bodies currently require the HANS Device and will not accept any other head and neck restraint system.

SCCA requires SFI 38.1 or FIA 8858 approved head and neck restraint devices for all wheel-to-wheel racing events. All of the HANS Device we carry will fulfill this requirement.

All of the HANS Devices we carry include black contour padding, tethers, helmet attachment hardware, and full instructions.
