FF1600 Clutch & Flywheel Parts
SCCA rule 17.1.6.D.5 allows the use of any single plate clutch (except carbon fiber) in Formula Ford 1600 competition. Replacing the stock Ford clutch with a Tilton racing clutch significantly reduces rotating inertia, increasing acceleration and reducing crankshaft stresses. The drawback is that racing clutches wear more rapidly and require more pedal force to operate than the stock clutch.

The 1.6L Ford clutch assembly includes the pressure plate and is for the Ford 1600 Kent engine. Primarily used on the Cortina, but many other Formula Fords still use this clutch.
